Koch Logistics Honored by Rite AidReceives performance awards along with partner Store Opening Solutions St. Paul, Minn. (Nov. 6, 2008) —Koch Logistics recently received recognition for its high-level performance from leading drug store chain Rite Aid. Koch Logistics was presented with the awards on October 7. Upon wrap-up of the Brooks-Eckerd re-imaging project, Rite Aid honored 19 key vendors with awards. Koch Logistics’ strategic partner, Store Opening Solutions (SOS), was presented with three awards in the following categories: “Consolidation”, “Installation” and “Above and Beyond.” SOS’ transportation partner Koch Logistics was honored for its on-time performance, acknowledging Koch’s ability to handle complex logistics problems. Koch was also personally awarded by Rite Aid’s senior vice president of supply chain operations, Wilson Lester, Jr., in recognition of Koch’s commitment to support services during the store conversion. “This recognition from Rite Aid reinforces our forward-thinking approach to logistics,” explains Jeff Faust, Vice President and General Manager. “Like all retailers, on-time delivery is the top priority to Rite Aid.
